Tired Thursday

It's been a hell of a frantic few weeks. I've been busy with family commitments, study and assignments, editing a manuscript for a competition (should be near its destination as we speak), and having a cold. Everything has fallen behind on other things, such as blogging. I've also put conference planning to the side to achieve what I needed to.

I'm almost on holidays. I have one assignment to hand in on Tuesday and then I have two weeks off. I will have assignments to do during that  time but I don't have to travel 45 minutes to campus.

And so from next week, I begin the tackling of things that have been put on the back-burner. Though, I started the catch up of sleep this afternoon. *grin*

In regards to writing, I want to achieve the following in April:

  • Enter two competitions
  • Get my ITIN (always gets shuffled to the bottom of the list)
  • Work on a short story for an anthology submission
I think that's an achieveable list.

The one thing that has suffered the most from my schedule the last few weeks has been reading. No sooner than I open a page, then my eyes close - I am that tired. So other than research, I've done little reading for me.

Research I've done has been on the typeface Broadway (just love this font), and artist/writer Shaun Tan.

My exercise routine has been shattered this past month, so I'm aiming April to be the month of setting this up again.

Wish me luck!

Good luck with the exercise, Eleni. It's just starting to cool down nicely here, so I've managed to get walking again - which my dog is pretty happy about. :)

Well done you for focusing on your personal goals. I trust your sense of satisfaction is high.

I haven't read a novel in ages - not even Kylie's first born. Hope to have all my immediate goals accomplished by end of June, then I'll have some me time. :)

Hey, Eleni,
All the best with your goals. I think you will make them. As for holidays, and a hectic few weeks, I can relate to that.

Have a great break.

Suz :)

Sandy, i started Zumba again tonight, and I know I'm going to feel it tomorrow. Good luck with you achieving your goals by June. You can do it!

Thanks, Anita!
