Happy Holidays to you all

I hope you all have a day of merriment with loved ones
(whether you celebrate Christmas or not).

I have always loved the nativity scene - one of my favourite decorations we had under the Christmas tree was a plastic nativity scene and I would spend ages just looking at it. So I wanted to put a picture that depicted the true meaning of Christmas.

Some Greek  Christmas facts:
The common abbreviation for Christmas to Xmas is derived from the Greek alphabet. X is letter Chi, which is the first letter of Christ's name in the Greek alphabet.

The Greek name for Christmas is Christougena - literally Christ's birth. When Greeks say Merry Christmas, they say Kala Christougena
