My Ma has always been a big supporter of my writing. She has been there with all the CFS stuff in going on in my life, despite her own ill health. I am truly blessed to have her as a mum.

I read the history of Mother's Day in our local paper the other day and it was a sad mix of tradition and commercialism.....the lady who originally started it has since detatched herself from what it has become but when I read your message to your mum today I felt very happy to see that the spirit of it does live on.
I'm going to wish you a happy mother's day too because I think that the idea of the day is to celebrate those wonderful women who bless our lives (mother being just one name for them) and I've read previously how important you are in many lives so celebrate that (I hope my sister is celebrating being an AWESOME Aunt too today :)).
